740 Corporate Woods Parkway Age Levels Date Times 4th & 5th Grades  October 23, 2010  5:30 - 7:30pm 4th & 5th Grades  October 24, 2010  6:00 - 8:00pm

We intend to have 2-3 teams at each level.  The 4th & 5th grade boys travel basketball try outs are early this year due to the early start of the North Suburban Basketball League for these age groups.  This league starts play on November 7th.  For more information about this league, you can visit www.eteamz.com/northsuburbanbasketball/

Try outs for boys in 6th through 8th grade will be scheduled for early November at a date/time and location to be determined.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE:

Dan is actually awake, recognizes Christine and others in the room and asked to see his kids. I heard he is sick of the hospital and wanted to know if they won the scrimmage game. So he is off the ventilator, breathing on his own, talking and already thinking football. He is still in the ICU, they're still closely monitoring him  and he is by no means out of the woods yet. But this is awesome news! Keep up the support and prayers. -email from Mundelein folks.


During the Bantam scrimmage on Saturday afternoon, one of the Mundelein coaches, Dan Coleman suffered a massive heart attack. He was assisted at the fields and then transported to Condell where he underwent emergency surgery.

As of today, he has made it through both operations and they started removing the machines this morning. They have also been reducing the drugs to bring him out of the coma. The doctors said his numbers are looking better and brain activity seems ok.
We will update the website with anymore updates. Our thought and prayers are with the Coleman family in their time of need. Please keep Dan in your thoughts and prayers as well.

Thursday, September 16th will be Junior Cougar Night at the Varsity football game. The game is 7:00pm at home. All tackle football players, flag football players and cheerleaders are invited to attend. The players and cheerleaders will get to go on the field and watch the game. All parents must pay to attend the game. All teams will be meeting in the VHAC baseball field parking lot at 6:15pm. We will all walk over as one group. After the pregame festivities, everyone is invited to cheer on the Cougars. More information will be posted in the coming weeks. Hope to see everyone there on the 16th. Go Cougars!

Selection and announcement of the assistant coaches for the Blue Travel Teams and the Head Coaches for the Gray Travel Teams will take place after the completion of the Travel Baseball tryouts.
